Actually in WUST, the path-way is same like Singapore just that they have a lot of trees which makes the whole atmosphere different. From my own opinion, I really like the area where the path-way are all covered by all the trees.

Staff room
After around 1-2hours of the orienteering, we all proceed to a supermarket to buy our own necessities. Having a comparison with Singapore supermarket, there is not much difference other than the price currency. After all the shopping, we went to a restaurant to have our lunch. It’s around 12plus pm which was the local students who are in charge of bringing us around brought us there. The restaurant environment was beautiful, much cleaner then what I expected. Firstly I thought it was just a small shop which sells beef noodles but end up like a high class restaurant environment. Surroundings are clean and the atmosphere was like a pub where there’s a bar and the lightings are fitting the whole environment.

After lunch we all went back to our hostel to take a rest and settle down after carrying all the things we bought from the supermarket. We took roughly a 30mins rest before setting off to another street to shop for the cable wires and pails. 建设二路 was the street name where we went to buy our stuffs. Took around 5 to 10mins walk from hostel and this street has a lot of 小吃. Didn’t get to try them because lunch was really full but I will eat it one day! Streets stalls at建设二路 are like similar with Singapore’s “Pasar Malam” just that the hygiene level is worst than Singapore. Once everything is done, we all head back to our hostel and settle down. For dinner wise, I took a cup noodle which I bought it this afternoon. =D That’s all for today’s journey….
Self-reflection :
Overall today’s experience was great. Let me experienced how the school works and we can see how the facilities we used in Singapore is different from WUST. From the entrance all the way to the door of the classroom, the corridors are old . Not much maintenance is made comparing to our school in Singapore. I wonder am I able to cope and study well with such environment. Today I when I was walking in 建设二路 I saw a small boy , top naked was walking beside his mother. This suddenly let me think of comparing our local children comparing to the boy in the street today. I felt that i am really very fortunate to have all the things that my parents are able to give me when i was young....
