Day 4 - Chinese Culture?

September 17, 2010 First IS lesson of the trip! Woke up early morning but still almost late for the first IS lesson. Well, YuHaw, Han Hui and me got no choice but to run there. We manage to reach on time to prevent ourselves from bring fine. (Heng ah!) Starting the lesson, Ms Zhang our IS lecturer are introducing to us about china culture. To my extend, I am shock when she is able to speak English fluently. She go through the whole lesson was talking about how china develop, grow in the economy. Also she talk about the seasons climates that china will encounter and the celebrations that china has such as the Lunar new year and the national day.

Eating bread outside the class, Break time :3

Okay let me give u a simple comparison between Singapore and China.
First climate, Singapore doesn’t have four seasons, while china has four seasons.
Second, they celebrate their lunar new year for 1 week while Singapore 3 days (Sad T_T) These are some of the most simple comparison between Singapore and china. So after a 2hours plus of lecture, our class finally ended at 12pm. We had our lunch at the canteen and after that we proceed to another lesson at 130pm.

As usual, lessons starts punctually and ends early. Today’s lesson was doing assignment where she teaches us how to do the NOA and stuffs. Well her teaching was clear and also has some humor included so that the lesson won’t be boring. After lesson, everyone went back to their own bunk and take a rest. Until dinner time, some of us join Ms hock and Mr Chia to a restaurant call 柠檬乐 to eat. Well it’s like normal 煮炒 where we just order and wait for the food to come. Just for information, in china, their taste is more stronger so we need to tell them to reduce more SALT and OIL. Once reduced = Singapore taste ^.^

After dinner, Ms hock went off while we guys walked around the streets and proceed back to bunk after some shopping….

Self – reflection : Second day of lesson in wuhan, getting used to it with this kind of life now. Woke up early in morning , crap around with my bunkmates before going to class. Well I treat it as a kind of bonding with them and hope there’s more fun and laughter as it goes. Cheers , Bye all !
