Day 3 - Wuhan, study n PLAY AH !!

September 16, 2010 was the start of our first lesson in Wuhan. Woke up at 830am and start preparing for our lessons. Packed all my stuffs and we set off at around 850am. Well, we cannot afford to be late for lessons because later comers will be fined. Today’s lesson is project management. Ms hock is our lecturer for this module. Due to her schedule, she is unable to teach us in the morning so Mr Chia took over her to give us a brief introduction on project management. Lesson starts from 9am sharp and ends around 12pm

After our lesson, we went to the canteen to have our lunch. In Wuhan, those students will normally take their lunch at 11plus am, therefore when we went there, most of the stalls are already closed. No choice, we left no choice but to order from the only stall which is open. The food is still alright, just that in china, their food is very oily. Once we finished our lunch, we went to have a walk at the street behind our hostel and proceed back to class again.

Class ended early at 3plus so everyone went back to hostel to prepare to go to “Shi Dong” ( a street name ) with the local students there. “Shi dong” is a place which has more varieties of things to see and has a shopping mall. We walk out to the nearest bus-stop to take a bus. Whole journey roughly took around 20mins. Once we reached there, its own time own target where everyone starts to shop and look around in the shopping mall. As for the guys, we all walk together in the shopping mall and after few hours all of us end up in the arcade. I notice that the arcades are much bigger as compared to Singapore and there is more variety of game consoles too.

Once we played finish all our tokens in the arcade, we all went to eat dinner in the food court. As usual, the fried rice I took is oily where my lips are so shiny after eating it. After dinner we went to back to gather and took the public bus back to hostel. Here marks the end of my day 3 life in Wuhan ….

Self-reflection :
Personally feels that I am getting used to it with my lifestyle in Wuhan now. I felt comfortable with my bunkmates and everything now as compared to the past few days. Even though there might be some inconvenience such as the mineral water need to be brought from the Mini-Mart/ Supermarket and laundry, but overall its good to stay here. Local students are very friendly and helpful towards us. To be honest.. I am ENJOYING NOW !! Cheers (:
Signing off now !!
